Hi, this is Stephen Cobb, author, filmmaker, and Internet entrepreneur, welcoming you to my site about living in Saint Augustine, Florida.
Saint Augustine is a very special city, located in St. John's County, just to the south of Jacksonville, where the weather is always mild, mostly warm but not too hot (yet only two hours away from the frozen North by airline or private jet).

On this site you can find links to information about the area, including several real estate properties I have for sale.

Now is definitely the time to buy in North Florida. Prices are the most affordable they have been in five years, but likely to start heading up now interest rates have plummeted and investors move in to snap up bargains. The widely quoted and otherwise gloomy "Housing Predictor" site now sees signs of recovery in Florida, particularly in the Jacksonville area where the "housing market should fair better than other Florida real estate markets."

In the last few years, the Jacksonville area has been recognized as one of the "Leading Market For Business Growth in the South" (Southern Business and Development Magazine); a top 10 market for "Hottest Cities for Job Growth through 2015" (Business 2.0); "Top 10 Cities to Find a Job" (Forbes Magazine); and a top destination for business expansions and relocations (Expansion Management Magazine).

Located just south of Jacksonville, St. Johns County offers a relaxed pace of life, with gorgeous beaches, abundant wildlife, a rich history, and one of the best school systems and highest per capita median incomes in Florida.

The heart of St. Johns County is the "Ancient City" of Saint Augustine, which could well be the 'perfect' place to live. I've listed 15 reasons on this page.

Right now I have several different real estate projects in progress, a house and large parcel of land in the North City neighborhood. There are several different ways this property could be purchased. (Just imagine living in a 5 bedroom house, with pool, on its own natural pond, a place where storks and eagles hang out, looking for a quick fish dinner.)
